# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes like a cafe drink but costs pennies and takes less time than waiting in line.
  • The shaking creates a silky foam that makes every sip feel indulgent.
  • You control the sweetness and can tweak the flavor to match your mood.
02 -
  • Let the syrup cool before adding it to the shaker, or it will melt the ice and dilute the drink.
  • Shake longer than you think you need to, the friction is what creates that silky foam.
  • Use chilled oat milk straight from the fridge so the drink stays icy cold after shaking.
03 -
  • If you don't have a shaker, use a Mason jar with a tight lid and shake it over the sink in case it leaks.
  • Chill your glass in the freezer for five minutes before pouring to keep the drink colder longer.
  • For a caffeine-free version, swap in decaf coffee or a strong rooibos tea and it still tastes incredible.
