# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It tastes indulgent while keeping you honest—fresh fruit and rum without the heavy sugar crash.
  • Takes barely 10 minutes to make, which means more time sipping and less time in the kitchen during heat waves.
  • Completely customizable depending on how sweet your strawberries are or how strong you want the drink.
02 -
  • Frozen strawberries blend smoother and colder than fresh ones, and there's no shame using them—they're frozen at peak ripeness.
  • Tasting before you serve saves you from oversweetening; erythritol and monk fruit can taste different than sugar, and ripe berries are unpredictable sweetness-wise.
03 -
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer while you blend; it keeps the drink slushier longer and feels more luxurious in your hand.
  • Frozen strawberries from the grocery store work beautifully and often taste better than fresh ones that traveled miles to reach you.
