# Components:
→ Biscuit Dough
01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
03 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
04 - 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
05 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
07 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and diced
08 - 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
09 - 3/4 cup buttermilk, plus more as needed
→ Buffalo Ranch Butter
10 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
11 - 2 tablespoons Buffalo wing sauce
12 - 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix, dry
→ Assembly and Garnish
13 - 12 wooden skewers
14 - 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded (for topping)
15 - 2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped (optional, for garnish)
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Submerge wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes to prevent scorching during baking.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, thoroughly whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, granulated sugar, garlic powder, and salt.
03 - Using a pastry cutter or fork, cut cold diced butter into the dry mixture until the texture resembles coarse crumbs.
04 - Stir in shredded sharp cheddar cheese until evenly distributed throughout the dough mixture.
05 - Pour buttermilk into the bowl and gently mix with a spatula until a soft dough forms. Add additional buttermilk, one tablespoon at a time, if mixture appears dry.
06 - Transfer dough onto a lightly floured surface. Pat to a thickness of approximately 3/4 inch and cut into 24 uniform squares, each about 1.5 inches wide.
07 - In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Buffalo wing sauce, and dry ranch seasoning mix until well blended.
08 - Thread two biscuit squares onto each wooden skewer, spacing them apart to promote even baking.
09 - Place assembled skewers evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each biscuit generously with Buffalo ranch butter mixture.
10 - Sprinkle reserved shredded cheddar cheese over the biscuits on each skewer.
11 - Transfer baking sheet to oven and bake for 16 to 18 minutes, or until biscuit squares are golden brown and cooked through.
12 - Allow biscuits to cool slightly. Garnish with chopped fresh chives if desired and serve warm.
